Statistics

A picture of your community, plus a member list you can filter and export.

Statistics gives you a picture of your community, in two tabs. The Overview tab charts your members automatically from the profile details recorded on each member. The Explore tab lets you search the register with those same details and export the matching list. You do not enter anything on this page; everything you see is drawn from the member register.

What it shows

At the top of the page you will see a few headline figures, followed by a set of charts that break your community down in different ways.

Members
The total number of members on your register, along with how many are active and how many are not.
Families
How many families your register covers, the average number of members per house, and the number of family heads. Shown for mahallu registers.
Median age
Half your members are younger than this age and half are older, worked out from the dates of birth you have recorded. The average age is shown alongside.
Sex ratio
The number of female members for every 1,000 male members, the same convention the census uses.

The charts

Below the headline figures, Statistics draws a set of charts to help you read your community at a glance. Tapping any figure opens the matching member list in the Explore tab, so you can always see exactly who is behind a number.

  • An age and gender pyramid: male members on the left, female on the right, grouped into age bands with the oldest at the top. A life stages strip below it groups everyone into children, youth, adults and seniors.
  • A gender breakdown of the whole register.
  • A marital status breakdown and an employment breakdown.
  • A profile completeness panel showing how fully each profile detail is recorded, with a shortcut to the members whose details are still missing.
  • A useful lists card with ready-made member lists, such as seniors, widowed members, students and members not working. Choose Edit on the card to hide the lists you do not need.

The Explore tab

Explore turns the register into a simple search tool. Combine any of the filters below, for example age 20 to 24, female, working and single, and the list updates to show exactly the members who match. Every filter lives in the page address, so a useful search can be bookmarked or shared, and the matching list can be exported as a PDF or CSV file at any time.

Age
A range worked out from each member's date of birth, for example 20 to 24. Either end can be left open.
Gender, marital status and employment
The same choices as the member profile, plus a "Not recorded" option to find members with a gap in their profile.
Occupation, education and religious education
Pick from common options or type your own word and press Enter. Add several and a member matches if their detail contains any of them, for example "Teacher" or "Driver".
House, relation and family head
Household filters for mahallu registers: a specific house, a relation to the family head, or family heads only.
Subscription and status
Subscribers or non-subscribers, and members who are active, inactive or deceased.
Contact details
Members with or without a phone number, WhatsApp number, or email address.

Hiding this section

Statistics is an optional section. If it is not useful for your masjid, an administrator can hide it from the menu under Settings. It is most valuable for mahallu masjids, where keeping a picture of the community matters most.
