Terms of Service
Last updated 4 July 2026
In short
- InflowBooks keeps your masjid's records. It is not a payment app.
- Donations go straight to your masjid. We never hold that money.
- Your masjid pays for a plan. The plan runs for a fixed time, like one year or two years.
- The plan does not renew by itself. You pay again when you want to continue.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what your committee records.
This box is only a summary. The full terms are below.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InflowBooks (the "Service"), operated by InflowBooks ("we", "us"), based in Kerala, India. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What InflowBooks is, and is not
InflowBooks is a record-keeping and management tool that helps a masjid track members, subscriptions, campaigns and the donations it receives, and produce receipts and reports.
InflowBooks is not a payment gateway, payment aggregator, payment processor or money services business. It does not collect, hold, transfer, settle or refund any funds. Any UPI ID or bank details shown on a masjid's page belong to that masjid and are displayed for convenience only. All donations and payments happen directly between the donor and the masjid, outside the Service. Payment entries in the Service are bookkeeping records that a committee enters for money already received.
Accounts and eligibility
- Accounts are intended for authorised committee members of a masjid.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Fees and price changes
Access to the Service may require a subscription or other fee, which will be communicated to you before you subscribe. A subscription is for a fixed term (for example, one or two years) and the fee for that term is the fee shown to you at the time you subscribe or renew for that term.
Renewal is not automatic. We are not a payment gateway, do not store your payment details, and do not charge you automatically. To continue using the Service after a term ends, you renew it yourself by paying for the next term. If a subscription is not renewed in time, access may be suspended.
Any promotional offer, such as bonus months of service added to a paid term, a free trial, promotional rate, introductory price, discount or waived fee, is temporary and applies only for the term or period stated. Bonus months form part of the term you paid for and carry no separate fee or refund value. When the term or period ends, the Service renews at our then-current standard fee unless you cancel before renewal. We are under no obligation to repeat or extend any such offer.
We may change our fees from time to time, including the price charged on renewal. Any change to the fee for a term that has already been paid will not take effect until the next renewal. We will give you reasonable advance notice of a price change before it applies to you, for example by email or a notice within the Service. If you do not accept a new fee, you may cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service, or allowing it to renew, after a price change takes effect means you accept the new fee.
All fees are exclusive of any taxes unless stated otherwise. Where a fee is collected through a third-party payment provider, that provider's terms also apply to the payment. Refunds and cancellation are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Responsibilities of the masjid
- You decide what member and donation data to record and are responsible for its accuracy.
- You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording another person's details.
- You are responsible for your own tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, including the lawful collection and use of donations and the issuing of any official receipts.
- You must use the Service lawfully and only for the purpose of managing your masjid's records.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to:
- access data belonging to another masjid or any account that is not yours;
- disrupt, probe or reverse engineer the Service or its security;
- upload unlawful content or use the Service to break any law.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software and design, remains our property or that of our licensors. The data a masjid enters remains the masjid's. We use it only to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Support
We provide reasonable technical support by email at inflowbooks@pm.me, and by phone where a number has been given to you, during reasonable hours on working days. We aim to respond to requests within a reasonable time, but do not guarantee a specific response or resolution time.
Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free. From time to time we may suspend the Service for updates or maintenance; where practical we will give advance notice of planned maintenance.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power or internet failures, faults at our hosting, server or internet service providers, or other similar events.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from donations, payments, tax or regulatory matters, which are solely between a donor, the masjid and the relevant authorities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, the data you enter, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required to protect the Service or other users. On termination you may request export of your data, subject to any retention required by law. Unless a longer period is required by law, your data is fully deleted from the Service 30 days after termination, so you should export anything you need within that period. Retention and deletion are described further in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Kerala, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
